The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui being a criticism of Hitler’s Germany by way of 1930s Chicago gangsters, this poster mixes 1940s and noir aesthetics to reference the time period and subject matter of the play.
Alternate Design
Early on in the process I adopted a second approach leaning more on the idea of movie posters produced in the play’s setting.
